Beast Mastery Hunter Class Overview
Welcome to my Beast Mastery Hunter DPS guide for World of Warcraft WotLK 3.3.5a. This will be a short guide describing what Spec, Talents, Glyphs, Gems and Enchants you will need in order to succeed in a raid. In the end of the guide there are also some tips and basic rotation for the class.
Beast Mastery Hunter is the best Hunter spec in terms of AoE damage. It also provides respectable single target DPS. These Hunters can tame Exotic Beasts and gain many interesting and unique abilities.
This spec is fun to play and it has a great content soloing potential.
The first build is for people who just hit level 80. Keep in mind, that you can swap a few points from Lethal Shots to Focused Aim in the Marksmanship Tree, if you lack Hit Cap. If you have your Hit Cap, then that last point could be spent in Invigoration or Catlike Reflexes, depending on if you have mana problems or not.
The second build is for people with medium or BiS gear. When you have top gear, then Arcane Shot is not in the rotation, since there are much better skills to use. This means that Improved Tracking will be your choice.
Gems are used to get your stat caps depending on what you lack, so it is situational
Every other slot is filled with Bright Cardinal Ruby.
Head – Arcanum of Torment
Shoulder – Greater Inscription of the Axe
Cloak – Major Agility
Chest – Powerful Stats
Bracers – Greater Assault
Gloves – Major Agility
Waist – Eternal Belt Buckle
Legs – Icescale Leg Armor
Boots – Tuskarr's Vitality
Weapons – Massacre or Superior Potency
Bow – Heartseeker Scope
